Check out the New Willow Flavor Station

This week Heidi McFarley, Food Program Director, rolled out the Willow Flavor Station. It's like a condiment bar, but with spice mixes, hot sauce, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and more.

In our Wednesday cooking class, we learned all about spices and the scholars made spice mixes. The next day, our “Flavor Ambassadors” introduced the rest of the school to the Willow Flavor Station, which will now be available during every lunch period.

Scholars LOVED the idea and were curious (and brave) about trying new flavors. Many Scholars encouraged others to be brave and curious too! The Willow Flavor Station is a roaring success!
