we welcome all students

Every student is unique. Some children have more difficulty learning than others.

what is child find?

Our school engages in the process of Child Find. The purpose of Child Find is to locate, identify and evaluate all children with suspected disabilities from birth through age 21 who may be in need of special education and/or related services regardless of the severity of their disability.

Signs that a child may have a disability include trouble achieving milestones in one or more of the following areas:

  • Vision and Hearing

  • Behavior or Social Skills

  • Speech or Communication Skills

  • Intellectual or Academic Skills

  • Motor Control or Coordination

If you are concerned that your child may have a disability, contact your Willow Public School for more information about the Child Find process.
