Myndi has a passion for helping guide students towards a love of knowledge. She believes every student is an individual and instruction should be customized to address their significant differences and needs.
Andrea comes to Willow after teaching at St. Basil's Academy and Walla Walla Public Schools. Her mission at Willow begins by helping each student develop their confidence and voice. She believes that for adults and children alike, a mistake holds power to unlock enormous growth and knowledge.
Nellyhas been an educator since 1998. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Education and Visual Arts, and taught Art and Theater in Peru for several years. In 2005 she moved with her family to the USA, where she earned both an M.A and a Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics, Literature and Culture, and began teaching Spanish at the college level.
Joelle was born and raised in Walla Walla. She left her beautiful town to attend college at the University of Washington. After obtaining a BS in Aquatic Sciences, she spent ten years following the rivers as a biologist. During that time she became so interested in educating young people that she went back to school to gain a masters degree in education.
Nicholegraduated from Eastern Oregon University with a BA in Environmental Science and minors in Spanish and Geography. Nichole is delighted to be a part of the Willow crew in where she can use her knowledge and experience in connecting with students and their families.
Rigoberto worked at Inspire Development Centers as a Preschool Lead Teacher for five years, and he enjoys working with kids! Rigoberto graduated from Walla Walla Community College with an AA in Early Childhood Education and he plans on continuing his education in the future to become a Middle School teacher.
Heidi has created memorable experiences around food that showcase the best of the Walla Walla Valley. At her restaurant, Red Reina Cuisine & Delicatessen, Heidi offered fresh, local and seasonal food made with love for her restaurant and catering clientele.
Brooke has a rich history in the social service field having worked in an adult correctional facility, the Walla Walla County Juvenile Justice Center, as an Intervention Specialist at Lincoln High School and most recently with the Community Resilience Initiative training locally as well as nationally on trauma and resilience.
Rosanna graduated from high school and immediately went to work for the Employment Security Department holding various positions throughout her 32 years. She graduated from Walla Walla Community College in 2017 with an AAS in Human Services. Rosanna will attend Central Washington University online to obtain her Bachelor’s degree either in Sociology or Psychology.
With Bachelors degrees in Social Science and Special Education and a minor in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma, she taught high school special education English and math before returning to school for her MBA at Washington University in St. Louis.
